Genomic DNA purification from blood is easy with the new QuatroProbe Automated DNA Extraction Platform from Gen-Probe. Using a novel, polymer-coated magnetic bead technology to isolate and purify human genomic DNA from whole blood or buffy coat, QuatroProbe is uniquely suited to the clinical laboratory environment.
- No PC required - uses pre-programmed SMART cards.
- Bottles can be placed directly from the kit into the instrument.
- Can start with either whole blood (250uL) or "buffy coat" cells.
- Optimized protocols employ a proprietary M-PVA Magnetic Bead technology.
- Fully Automated Extraction Robot can process from 4 to 48 samples. (4 samples in <30 minutes, 48 samples in <60 minutes).
