Quik-ID® Class I

Designed to detect panel reactive IgG antibodies (PRA) to Class I Human Leukocyte Antigens (HLA)

The GTI Diagnostics HLA Antibody Identification ELISAs are designed to be used as companion products to the HLA Antibody Screening ELISAs: QuikScreen® and B-Screen®. Antibodies previously detected with the Screening products may be further characterized with an HLA Antibody Identification product to determine a panel reactive antibody (PRA) value and specificity.

Quik-ID® Class I provides a panel which represents a wide variety of different Class I HLA glycoproteins. The HLA glycoproteins are derived from platelets or EBV transformed B lymphocyte cell lines of 40 individual donors, each immobilized in a different microwell by means of a monoclonal antibody specific for HLA Class I. The HLA Class I type of each donor and the number of wells containing each antigen is provided on the Recording Sheet. GTI Diagnostics is updating documents to comply with changes to HLA allele naming designations by W.H.O.
