Designed to detect panel reactive IgG antibodies (PRA) to Class II Human Leukocyte Antigens (HLA)
The GTI Diagnostics HLA Antibody Identification ELISAs are designed to be used as companion products to the HLA Antibody Screening ELISAs: QuikScreen® and B-Screen®. Antibodies previously detected with the Screening products may be further characterized with an HLA Antibody Identification product to determine a panel reactive antibody (PRA) value and specificity.
Quik-ID® Class II provides a panel which represents a wide variety of different Class II HLA glycoproteins. The HLA Class II glycoproteins are derived from 30 different EBV transformed B lymphocyte cell lines, each immobilized in a different microwell by means of a monoclonal antibody specific for HLA Class II. The HLA Class II type of each donor and the number of wells containing each antigen is provided on the Recording Sheet. GTI Diagnostics is updating documents to comply with changes to HLA allele naming designations by W.H.O.
