Designed to detect IgG antibodies to Human Leukocyte Antigens (HLA) Class I
The LIFECODES HLA Antibody Screening ELISA is a companion product to the HLA Antibody Identification ELISAs: Quik-ID® Class I and Quik-ID® Class II. Antibodies detected with the Screening assay may be further characterized with an HLA Antibody Identification product to determine a panel reactive antibody (PRA) value and specificity.
QuikScreen® microwells contain immobilized Class I HLA glycoproteins which were affinity purified from the platelets of approximately 300 random donors where a third are Caucasion, a third are African American and a third are Hispanic.
